Animant does not collect or store any data related to your projects, assets, or textures within the app. All your projects, assets, and textures remain locally stored on your device and are not accessible to us.

1.3 iCloud Storage:

If you choose to store your projects and assets in iCloud, please be aware that iCloud is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review Apple's Privacy Policy to understand how your data is handled in iCloud.

1.4 Sensei:

Sensei uses various AI models to understand the context behind natural language sentences to construct 3D models and animations. Depending on your type of query, your request may either be handled by models directly on your device, or models in the cloud. In either case, your data is never used to train AI models.

1.4a Sensei (on-device processing):

If your query involves animating or deleting objects, your query will be processed by machine learning models on your device. Your query is never sent to Animant nor any third party.

1.4b Sensei Create (Beta) (cloud processing):

If your query involves the creation of 3D models from text input, your query will be processed by OpenAI via Animant servers. As a result, your text input will be stored by OpenAI for 30 days in accordance with their privacy policy (we encourage you to read it here). Animant servers act as a proxy which never store your input query but do maintain a log of timestamps that correspond to the times your device accesses the Sensei Create service. These timestamps are linked to a random identifier tied to your specific device, yet do not personally identify you nor your data. We maintain these timestamps indefinitely to enforce usage limits and prevent abuse of our systems.

2. Anonymized Analytics:

2.1 Data Collected:

To improve our services and for future product planning, Animant may receive anonymized analytics from Apple. These aggregated analytics include data related to device type, region, and the number of app purchases. This information helps us understand usage patterns and make informed decisions to enhance the user experience.

3. Submission of Crash Logs:

3.1 Optional Submission of Diagnostic Data:

If you choose to submit crash logs to Animant, the app will automatically send anonymized technical information to Apple that's visible to us pertaining to the circumstances that led to the app crash. These logs do not contain any personally identifiable information nor project data. The purpose of collecting crash logs is to diagnose and address app issues promptly, ensuring a more stable and reliable app experience for all users.

4. Website and Online Store Data:

4.1 Aggregated Data:

Our website and online store collect basic aggregated data about your country and device type. This information is gathered in a way that cannot be linked back to you as an individual. We do not collect your IP address during this process, nor do we store any cookies in your browser.
